How do I reduce a PDF's file size, and does it lose quality?

The compress option rasterizes each page to a JPEG at one of three quality presets and re-embeds it. That shrinks file size significantly, but it's a re-encode — pages become images, so very fine text or line art can look softer at the smallest preset. Selectable text on those pages is no longer selectable after compressing.

Can I split a PDF, reorder pages, or extract pages?

Yes. Split a PDF into separate files, drag pages into a new order (or delete some) and save, or extract a specific range of pages.

Can I sign a PDF or add a watermark?

Yes. Draw or upload a signature and place it on any page, or stamp text like DRAFT or CONFIDENTIAL across every page — both stay editable until you download.
